Single-player mode pits you against computer opponents, where you team up with the AI to defeat two adversaries. To simulate fair gameplay, all computer players operate using identical AI algorithms. Importantly, as in real-life gameplay, computers do not have access to opponents' cards. They rely solely on visible information and memory, employing strategic decision-making to turn trumps or refrain from playing risky cards according to their assessment of the game situation.

The AI's capabilities are expected to improve over time through updates, but current functionalities include recognizing when to turn trumps upon winning a trick and choosing when to stop to prevent giving an advantage to opponents. Precautions have been implemented during discarding phases to avoid scenarios where partners inadvertently discard significant cards like aces onto opponents' tricks.

MaBELOTE offers various customization parameters for personalized gameplay:

• Choice between classic belote or belote coinche
• Options for simple color schemes or themes with no trump and all trumps
• Different scoring modes (always 162 points or 130/252 points), including belotes and rebelotes
• Customization of card mat colors (red, blue, black, green) or a random selection
• Preselection display mode for playable cards only
• Ad-free mode or different advertisement levels (third-party ads, 50% or 100%)
• Real-time score display during gameplay

For beginners, the app provides access to viewing the last played trick and details of card sequences in both suit and trump colors. After each game, players can review replays to learn and refine strategies by experimenting with different techniques.

Additionally, MaBELOTE allows sharing game scores alongside hand details with friends. The app supports solo play against the computer without requiring internet or Wi-Fi connection, thereby conserving data usage.
